In accordance to the International Monetary payment policy and in-line with the new Federal Government of Nigeria Fiscal Policy, all foreign contractors whose contract fund are due for payment are now informed that the settlement of their payments have been channeled only through CONTRACT AWARD DIVISION NNPC. This is due to the recent financial crisis and economic recession that has affected our economy and several complain of corrupt practices in our paying offices here and abroad.
We therefore bring to your notice that all our paying institutions. Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Finance, All Correspondence Banks and Accountant General of the Federation) including all our off-shore payment offices have been stopped from further international/foreign payments. All beneficiaries are warned to desist from further dealings with any person, office/off-shore payment centre in respect to their payments, as all telegraphic transfers, draft and all instruments of transfer that is not directly from the office of MR. FRANK CHINEMERE ANOZIE, Chairman Contract Award and Payment Division NNPC will not be honoured by any of our international bank of settlement (corresponding bank) Any action contrary to this advise is at your own risk as any payment blacklist by this Committee will be cancelled out rightly.
